6) Remove the two contactor mounting bolts at the front of the contactor.
7) Carefully remove the contactor from the cabinet.

The contactor weighs approximately 100 lbs. (45 kg)

and assistance may be required to safely remove

it from the cabinet and transport it. Failure to use

caution when moving the contactor may result in

equipment damage and/or personal injury.

8) If the contactor is being replaced with a new one, move the contac-

tor interlock lever to the new contactor.

The retaining screw is critical to the mechanical

integrity of the isolation switch. It is very important

to ensure this screw is replaced during reassembly.

9) Reverse the procedure to reinstall the contactor. Ensure the

mounting bolts, power cable hardware and bus bar hardware is

properly torqued. See Torque Requirements, page 5-1.

10) Adjust the contactor interlock rod according to the Contactor Inter-

lock Rod Adjustment procedure on page 5-11.
