This chapter describes the utility commands available in the CLI.

The commands in this chapter are in one of four functional groups:

Show commands display switch settings, statistics, and other information.

Configuration commands configure features and options of the switch. For every
configuration command, there is a show command that displays the configuration
setting.

Copy commands transfer or save configuration and informational files to and from
the switch.

Clear commands clear some or all of the settings to factory defaults.

4.1

Commands for update and startup Configuration

The following commands are implemented to manipulate the Software images and

configurations of the AT8402. The slot number (<slotnumber>) ranges from 0 - 9.

4.1.1

download ipmifw

This command copies an IPMI firmware image from URL and flashes the IPMC with

the new image. If the flash process is interrupted or fails, the IPMC will automatically

recover and use the previously installed image

This command copies an initrd tgz (including kernel) from source-url and flash it to A

or B location
