This commands sets the kind of used clock. The clock can be a local SSC, local non-

SSC or external clock.

This commands sets the mode for the PCIe. The mode can be intelligent adapter mode,

dual host mode or transparent mode.

Intelligent Adapter Mode This mode allows to configure a dedicated port to be a

non-transparent (NT) port. This can be useful when having an AMC
module holding an additional root complex which wants to enumerate
his own PCIe domain (intelligent adapter!) in addition to the root com-
plex which is connected to the PEX8532 upstream port. This would
result in 2 PCIe domains enumerated by their own root complex which
are connected by the dedicated NT port. Cross-domain traffic is possi-
ble through address mapping mechanisms.
