Optional Plug-in Modules
• The SS3GR24i/SS3GR48i switches have a removable rear
panel to accommodate a Redundant Backup Power Supply.
• The SS3GR48i (but not the SS3GR24i) also has another
rear panel where an optional 10 Gigabit Uplink Module
can be installed. These modules are ordered separately.
The slot for the expansion module is located in the rear
panel of the switch chassis. The 10 Gigabit Ethernet
expansion module supports up to two 10 Gbps Small Form
Factor Pluggable (XFP) optical transceivers. XFPs are
ordered separately.
