To enable the Trap Event set the drop down box to Enabled and
click the Apply button. The Traps that can selected are:
• SNMP Cold Start – indicates cold start of the switch
• SNMP Warm Start – indicates a reset of the switch
• SNMP Authentication Failure – unauthorized/rejected switch
access
• Bridge Topology Change – Indicates a spanning-tree change.
• Bridge New Root – Indicates a spanning-tree change.
• Enabled Link Up/Down Port – This trap indicates when a
specific port (or set of ports) link goes up or down. For example:
1/[1-24], indicates switch 1 (in a possible stack) ports 1 to 24.
Click the Apply button to save the changes.
