Link Aggregation

Link aggregation uses LACP (Link Aggregation Control Protocol)

to combine a number of ports together to make a single high-

bandwidth data pipeline. The participating parts are called

members of a link aggregation group, with one port designated as

the master port

of the group. Since all members of the link

aggregation group must be configured to operate in the same

manner, the configuration of the master port is applied to all

members of the link aggregation group. Link Aggregation is a

Subfolder of the Ports Folder

System Priority

System Priority specifies the switch’s link aggregation priority

relative to other switches at the other ends of the links on which

link aggregation is enabled. To configure System Priority settings,

click the Ports Folder, and then the Port Security Subfolder and

then the System Priority Page.
