‘Output Phys Conns’ Page

The ‘Output Phys Conns’ page is just like the ‘Input Phys Conns’ page in every way except that it
is for outputs. (Because it is for outputs, its export file, if any, is named for outputs too.)

See

‘Input Phys Conns’ Page

on page 155.

‘Add Device’ Page

The ‘Add Device’ page starts a series of steps, in multiple pages, in which you create a new
device. There are two ways to get the ‘Add Device’ page:

Click the ‘Add Device’ button at the bottom of the ‘Devices’ page (of the ‘Configuration’
pane).

Click ‘Add Device’ in the ‘Tasks’ pane.

This is a sample of the page:

This page, as the start of a series, provides 3 basic fields:

Mnemonic. The new device’s name.

Description. This field is optional and free-form. Use it to suit the purposes of your system.

Level Set. This field is required. All devices must belong to one and only one level set.

At the bottom of the page are buttons that allow you to move through the sequence of steps in
device definition:
