Quad mix card parameters

In the IP address field, specify the IP address of the quad mixer card. It is with this card that
the NV9660 communicates.

The quad mixer card has 4 mixers. In the mixer field, you select the mixer that this NV9660
will control. Four NV9660s are required to control all 4 outputs of the QM card.

RP16

Hardware Description

The RP16 (which is called NVRP16 in NV9000-SE Utilities) is not an NV9000 control panel. The
RP16 is a “remote panel module” in the compact router series. The combination of an RP16 and
a CR series panel (such as a CP1616) normally functions as a “remote panel” in a CRSC compact
router system. However, a remote panel can also be used as an NV9000 control panel.

The RP16 is the configurable part of the pairing.

The RP16 has no I/O connectors and no video reference connectors. Otherwise, the RP16 is the
same size as, and resembles, a 1RU compact router.

This is a front view of the RP16:

A remote panel module must have a CR series control panel attached to be usable. This is a view
of the CP1616 (one of the control panels that can mount on the RP16):

RP16 Configuration Page

Before you can configure the RP16 in NV9000-SE Utilities, you must use CRSC (the Compact
Router System Configurator) to set it up for use in an NV9000 system. Use CRSC’s ‘Setup
NV9000 Remote Panel’ page to do so. See the CRSC User’s Guide for details.
