Remotely Controlling the VR-6HD

To remotely control the VR-6HD, you can use an external device to send control signals to the unit (p. 90), use a dedicated app, or use LAN/RS-232

commands.

Using the dedicated apps “VR-6HD RCS” and “VR-6HD

Remote”

Dedicated apps are available for computers (“VR-6HD RCS”) and for the

iPad (“VR-6HD Remote”).
These apps can be downloaded from the Roland website.

Use the dedicated “VR-6HD RCS” app to operate the VR-6HD from your

computer.

The VR-6HD support two types of remote-interface communication: LAN

and RS-232.
Using the DIRECT STREAM port or RS-232 connector to send specific

commands to the VR-6HD from a controlling device lets you operate the

VR-6HD.
