When the linear PCM recorder is connected
with another Bluetooth audio device,
“Disconnect Connected Audio Device.
Continue?” appears on the display window.
Select “Yes.”

Press the

button to start searching

for Bluetooth audio devices.

The search for Bluetooth audio devices that
are available for device registration starts
and the list of the found devices appears
on the display window.

Select the Bluetooth device that you
want to register (pair) with the linear
PCM recorder.

When the device is registered (paired),
a Bluetooth connection is automatically
established and “Connection Complete”
appears on the display window.

Start playback on the linear PCM
recorder.

Now, you can listen to audio from the
Bluetooth audio device.

Note

When an external device is connected to the LINE OUT
jack on the linear PCM recorder, no sound is output
from the connected Bluetooth audio device. To
monitor the output sound from the device connected
to the LINE OUT jack, connect headphones to the

(headphones) jack.

To disconnect the connection with the
Bluetooth audio device

Select “  Bluetooth”

“Audio Device”

“Disconnect” from the HOME menu.

Using BLUETOOTH®

Function

Listening to wireless sound

You can establish a wireless connection
between a Bluetooth audio device and the
linear PCM recorder and listen to audio from
the Bluetooth audio device.
However, you cannot monitor the ongoing
recording with the Bluetooth audio device.
Use the headphones connected to the

(headphones) jack on the linear PCM recorder
for monitoring.

Making device registration
(pairing)

To establish a wireless connection between
Bluetooth audio devices for the first time, you
need to have the devices registered with each
other. This device registration process is called
“pairing.”

Place the Bluetooth audio device
with which you want to establish a
Bluetooth connection in pairing mode.

Be sure to place the linear PCM recorder
within 1 m (3 ft) from the Bluetooth audio
device.

While playback is on standby, press
and hold the BACK/HOME button for
1 second or more to display the HOME
menu, select “  Bluetooth”

“Audio

Device.”

The menu screen for audio devices is
displayed on the display window.

Select “Add Device (Pairing).”

When the Bluetooth function of the linear
PCM recorder is turned off, “Turn Bluetooth
On?” appears on the display window. Select
“Yes,” and then press the

button.
