Language

You may select the language to display the contents on the
display window.
English: The contents are displayed in English.

简体中文

: The contents are displayed in Simplified Chinese.

繁體中文

: The contents are displayed in Traditional Chinese.

Note

Depending on the country or region of your purchase, “Language” may
not available for selection under “Common Settings.” Even when it is
available, the number of available languages and the default language
depend on the country or region.

Date&Time

You can set the following.
Set Date/Time: Set the current date and time (page 21).
Date Display Format: Specify the date display format by selecting
one of the following:
• YYYY/MM/DD
• MM/DD/YYYY
• DD/MM/YYYY
Time Display: Specify the time display format by selecting either
of the following:
• 12-Hour: 12:00AM = midnight, 12:00PM = noon
• 24-Hour: 00:00 = midnight, 12:00 = noon

Note

The default setting differs depending on the country or region you
purchased your linear PCM recorder.

Auto Standby

You can disable the Auto Standby function or select a period of
time before the linear PCM recorder turns off the display window
and enters low power consumption mode if it is left unused.
OFF:

The Auto Standby function is disabled.

5min: The linear PCM recorder enters low power consumption

mode in 5 minutes.

10min: The linear PCM recorder enters low power consumption

mode in 10 minutes.

30min*: The linear PCM recorder enters low power consumption

mode in 30 minutes.

60min: The linear PCM recorder enters low power consumption

mode in 60 minutes.

Battery Setting

For optimum operations, you can select the type of batteries you
are using for the linear PCM recorder.
Alkaline Battery*: Select this option if using alkaline batteries.
NiMH Battery:

Select this option if using rechargeable NiMH
batteries.
