Feature description

Attendant Interpositional Transfer enables an attendant to call or transfer
a call to another attendant in a multiple console group, even when the
destination attendant console is busy.

When transferring a call to another attendant whose console is idle, the
interpositional call is presented immediately. If the called attendant is busy,
the calling attendant hears a busy tone. The attendant then presses the
Release key and the transferred call will be the next call presented to the
called attendant console.

Operating parameters

A call can be transferred to an attendant console in the Position Busy state;
however, the called console does not receive any audible signal. A Call
Waiting indication appears on the console display.
