Signal Strength
This menu displays the strength of the wireless signal.
NOTE:
This is a display value only and cannot be changed.
Operation Mode
Allows you to select the way the Wireless option communicates:
•
Infrastructure
(factory default). The Wireless option must go through an
Access Point.
•
Pseudo IBSS
. Proprietary, peer-to-peer communication (without an
Access Point). The two peers must be specific to one manufacturer.
•
Ad Hoc
. Standard, peer-to-peer communication (without an Access
Point). The two peers can be from different manufacturers.
