7.8 Fuse Replacement
For hybrid systems equipped with rectifiers, there are two fuses located behind the DC input breakers shelf
(see Figure 58). These fuses are sized to blow only if there is a wiring fault in the system. These fuses must
be replaced by a qualified service person.
1. Turn the rectifier breakers off.
2. Disconnect the battery feeds to the AMPS unit.
WARNING!
There may still be live parts inside the system and shock hazards may be present through-
out this procedure.
3. Remove the left side panel.
4. Remove the ¼-20 nut holding the fuse to the fuse holder/bracket (594-110-13). Use a 7/16 socket or
wrench.
5. Remove the ¼-20 screw and ¼-20 nut holding the wire to the fuse. Use a 7/16 socket or wrench.
6. Replace the fuse with a fuse of the same rating and type:
