HP Address Book Manager messages

This table contains the error messages that might appear when you
are using the ABM and actions to take to resolve the problem.

Messages are listed in alphabetical order.

Actions

ABM has found a number of
items greater than the
maximum supported.
Application may become
unstable.

The maximum number of
items that the ABM can
support has been exceeded
(for example, maximum
number of fax destinations or
e-mail addresses).

Contact the administrator.

ABM internal error code.

The ABM has experienced an
internal error.



Turn the digital sender off
and then back on.



If the problem persists, note
the code and contact the
administrator.

Address Book locked.

Someone else is using the
address book you are trying to
access.

Try accessing the address
book again.

Cannot access the Windows
Registry. The Windows
Registry data is corrupted.

Information in the Windows
registry has changed for some
reason and is no longer valid
for the digital sender.



Remove LDAP
configuration data from the
registry using Regedit.exe
and then configure the
LDAP directory service
again.



If the problem persists,
contact the administrator.

Digital sender busy executing
Address Book backup or
restore.

Address books in the digital
sender are either being
backed up or restored. The
digital sender is locked from
use until the backup or restore
is complete.

Try again later.
