Prerequisites for installing or using this product include:

Installing the HP StorageWorks disk array(s)
•
Installing the license key for this product
System requirements
To use XP LUN Configuration and Security Manager Software, you need:
•
XP12000/XP10000/SVS200 array
•
XP LUN Configuration and Security Manager Software optional program
•
WWW client computer connected to the array via a LAN
To use XP LUN Configuration and Security Manager Software, you must use the WWW client computer
to log on to the SVP. When you are logged on, XP Command View Advanced Edition Software or
XP Remote Web Console, which is a Java applet, is downloaded to the WWW client computer. You
can perform XP LUN Configuration and Security Manager Software operations in XP Command View
Advanced Edition Software or XP Remote Web Console.

Configuring WWW client computers
XP LUN Configuration and Security Manager Software operations require XP Command View Advanced
Edition Software or XP Remote Web Console, which is downloaded to the WWW client computer.
The WWW client computer must be connected to the array via a LAN. Browser settings are also
required on the WWW client computer. For more information, see the HP StorageWorks XP Command
