Chapter 1
Introduction and Specifications
1.1 Introduction
The IQM-233 card is a thin film deposition controller that installs into a PCI Express
slot within a standard or small form factor computer that runs on the Windows
® XP,
Windows 7, or Windows 8 operating system. See Figure 1-1 .
Basic features for one IQM-233 card, or one SQM-242 card, are provided with the
IQM-233 Standard software.
NOTE: Advanced features for up to two IQM-233 cards, or two SQM-242 cards,
are provided by the optional IQS-233 Codeposition software.
For designing custom software, the Windows Dynamic Link Library (DLL) file
allows up to six IQM-233 cards or up to six SQM-242 cards to be used.
A LabVIEW™ VI sample is provided to demonstrate programming techniques.
