4.6 BOOTP Request Screen

If the 3240S has BOOTP enabled through the SNMP Agent Configuration setup screen (default setting), the following screen
will be displayed until a BOOTP server responds to the request or the Esc key is pressed. (See figure 4-3 - with no password
required).

If a BOOTP server responds to the BOOTP request, the message '**BOOTP successful' will be displayed. Figure 4-3 shows
a BOOTP request in progress that has yet to be answered by the remote (requested) BOOTP Server; BOOTP will continue to
send requests until the 'Esc' key is depressed.

If the SNMP Agent Configuration has been configured, and BOOTP has been enabled, the selected number of BOOTP
requests will be generated wherein BOOTP requests will continue until the set number of counts has expired. If the 3240S is
not getting any information from the BOOTP Server, "BOOTP unsuccessful" will be displayed after the selected number of
BOOTP requests has expired. Pressing the 'Esc' key will terminate the BOOTP requests.
