About Timezones (Greenwich Mean Time)
There are 25 integer World Time Zones from -12 through 0
(GMT) to +12. Each one is 15° of longitude as measured
East and West from the Prime Meridian of the World which
is at Greenwich, England. Some countries have adopted non-
standard time zones, usually a 30 minute offset.
Each Time Zone is measured relative to Greenwich, Eng-
land. Civilian designations (which are used for all HI 3000
Series Instruments) are typically three letter abbreviations
(e.g. EST) for most time zones. Below is a list of the abbre-
viated time zones with the GMT time adjustment. You will
see the time zone ranges in the e-mail header. Use Table 4-2
to determine your time zone and to set the Timezone for the
HI 3010 Filler/Dispenser/IBC.
