• Stretch stitch patterns
In addition to straight stitch and zig-zag stitch, your machine can produce a variety of stitch
patterns. There are two types of stitch patterns built into your machine:
• decorative stitch patterns, illustrated above, are produced by side-to-side movement of the
needle,
• stretch stitch patterns, illustrated above, are produced by both the side-to-side movement of the
needle and the back-and-forth movement of the feed.
The straight stretch symbol iii is positioned at left side of control panel above the straight stitch
symbol ;.

Two pattern modules come with your machine. One is already in the machine and is interchangea
ble with the other in the accessory box. Each produces an individual design that will add a personal
touch to all your sewing. Some patterns are purely decorative while others are used for practical
purposes are well.
