REMOVING AND REPLACING
PATTERN MODULE
1. Set stitch width selector on ¡(straight sti­
tch) and pattern selector to /. Set stitch
lenght selector dial at 0.
2. Open top cover lid, turn hand wheel until
pattern module is in the indicated position
(ill. A), then lift pattern module latch to ver­
tical position and pull the pattern module
out.
3. Place pattern module over engaging pin
and rotate to align slot with extension on
the module driver (ill. B). Press the pattern
module all the way down until it is properly
seated. Engage latch to secure module.
SELECTING A PATTERN GROUP

Before moving pattern group selector, make
sure needle is above fabric.
When you rotate the pattern group selector,
one of 8 different groups of stitch pattern is
available to you.
Slide stitch width selector to i , then rotate
the pattern group selector as required, until
the number of the desired group of two stitches
is positioned under the ▼ symbol above the
selector.
ADJUSTING STITCH PLACEMENT
Before moving needle position selector, make
sure needle is above fabric.
All stitch patterns can be sewn in either left
*L , centre JL , or right J, needle position
Selector setting centre X is used most often.
A X left or 1 right setting is used to
place narrow stitch patterns to the left or right
of the centre in decorative work.
