Start mode
The sewing process can be started by three different switching opera-
tions. A change of the start mode results in a change of the pertaining
symbol on the display.

When the right side of the pedal is depressed, the sewing pro-
cess starts. The sewing speed can be contolled in twelve stages,
depending on the applied pressure. The higher the pressure, the
higher the speed. At the end of the manually controlled sewing
route, the automatic sewing process can be started by depres-
sing the left side of the pedal. The contour guide moves from the
start position to the stop position, then the automatic sewing pro-
cess starts.
