The mode of the controller can be set via the Set Controller Mode window.
Normal Mode is required for normal CONTROLLER
SERVER operations.
Shutdown Mode is required for operations such as chang-
ing Control Channels or other critical parameters in the
System Setup window, or for changing satel-
lite/transponder-related parameters such as step size, trans-
ponder size, etc., (see
Chapter 2
).
Initiating
Shutdown Mode
1. Select the Shutdown check box.
2. Click [OK]. The Controller window returns to the display. The
controller status changes until it reaches the “Shutdown” state.
