Choose the Import mode, on the Options tab, in which the picture displays.
 Best fit import mode allows you to resize the picture and keep the aspect ratio. Best fit is the default
import mode. A transparent area adds to the side of the video to keep the aspect ratio correct.
 Stretch import mode allows you to resize the picture, but it does not keep the aspect ratio. The
picture stretches across the resizing square. Pictures imported in Stretch import mode are often
distorted.
 Normal import mode imports the picture exactly. You are not able to enlarge the picture, but you can
crop the picture to allow only certain parts of the picture to display. The picture anchors to the left
side of the resizing square. You cannot transform the picture itself, only the resizing square that
contains the picture.
These options can be changed after the import process. Right-click any image or video element to show a
context menu with the same fit modes.
The following buttons are shown on the image above.
 Align Left moves the selection area to the left side of the imported image.
 Align Top moves the selection area to the top side of the imported image.
 Center moves the selection area to the center of the imported image.
 Align Bottom moves the selection area to the bottom of the imported image.
 Align Right moves the selection area to the right of the imported image.
 Select Entire Image resizes the selection area to fit the entire image.
 Crop to Display selects a portion of an image that is the same size of the display.
 Zoom Slider adjusts the zoom level of the selected image.
Arrange the picture within the resizing square by clicking the buttons on the bottom of the Image Import
menu. Click the Center button to move the image back to the center of the resizing square.
Change the image from color to grayscale by selecting the Grayscale check box, in the Color correction
group, on the Options tab.
