Character Map
Select the layout, text box, or page on which you want to place the symbol. The symbol inserts directly on
the layout, text box, or page.
Click the Character Map button, in the Text group, on the Insert tab. The Character Map menu opens.
Click the symbol you want to insert. If the symbol you want is not in the list, select a different font from
the Font drop-down menu at the top of the Character Map menu. Select the font you want, and then
click the symbol you want to insert.
Click Insert.
Click Cancel if you do not want to insert a symbol or you want to close the Character Map menu.
