CAUTION:
Deploying the B-VLAN to ECT algorithm mapping might cause traffic interruption.
Removing B-VLAN to ECT algorithm mappings
This task removes B-VLAN to ECT algorithm mappings from the B-VLAN plan. It does not remove B-VLAN
to ECT algorithm mappings from SPB devices.
To remove B-VLAN to ECT algorithm mappings:
1. From the navigation tree, select Service > VAN Fabric Manager > LAN Configuration > SPB.
2. Click the B-VLAN Plan tab.
3. Select mapping entries in the B-VLAN plan.
4. Click Delete.
5. Click OK.
Deploying the B-VLAN plan to SPB devices
Perform this task to deploy planned B-VLAN to ECT algorithm mappings across the SPB network for
consistency. You need to perform this task only for B-VLANs that are not mapped to the planned ECT
algorithms on SPB devices.
To deploy the B-VLAN plan to SPB devices:
1. On the B-VLAN Plan tab, click a B-VLAN ID in red.
The B-VLAN Plan area displays the planned B-VLAN ID to ECT algorithm mapping. The Devices
Incompliant with B-VLAN Plan area contains the following information:

Device Name—Name of an SPB device incompliant with the B-VLAN plan. To display detailed
information about the device, click the device name. For more information about device details,
see H3C IMC Base Platform Administrator Guide.

B-VLAN ID—B-VLAN ID.
{
ECT Index—ECT algorithm index mapped to the B-VLAN on the device.

Ignored—Plan compliance check setting:
− Yes—The SPB module does not compare the device's B-VLAN to ECT algorithm mapping
with the B-VLAN plan for inconsistency. To change the setting to No, click the Yes link.
− No—The SPB module compares the device's B-VLAN to ECT algorithm mapping with the
B-VLAN plan for inconsistency. To change the setting to Yes, click the No link.
You may choose to ignore plan compliance check for a B-VLAN on an SPB device if the
device is not planned to forward traffic for the B-VLAN. The device will be considered as
compliant with the B-VLAN ID.
2. Select devices from the plan-incompliant device list.
3. Click Correct Device Config to deploy the planned B-VLAN to ECT algorithm mapping to the
selected devices.
4. To correct the B-VLAN to ECT algorithm mappings for other B-VLANs on SPB devices, repeat the
previous steps.
