Deleting SPB services

You can delete only SPB services in Undeployed, Failed Deploy, or Failed Modify state.
This task does not remove devices from the SPB module.
To delete an SPB service:

1.

From the navigation tree, select VAN Fabric Manager > LAN Configuration > SPB.

2.

Click the SPB Services tab.

3.

Select SPB services in the SPB service list.

4.

Click Delete.

5.

Click OK.

Deploying SPB services

You can deploy an SPB service on devices when you add the SPB service or by using the procedure in

this section.
You can deploy only SPB services in Undeployed or Failed Deploy state.
To deploy SPB services:

1.

From the navigation tree, select VAN Fabric Manager > LAN Configuration > SPB.

2.

Click the SPB Services tab.

3.

Select SPB services in the SPB service list.

4.

Click Deploy.
The Deploy Status column displays Deploying.

5.

After the deployment is completed, click Refresh to verify the deployment result:

If the Deploy Status column displays Normal, the deployment is successful.

If the Deploy Status column displays Failed Deploy, the deployment failed. To view the failure
cause, hover over Failed Deploy.

Undeploying SPB services

This task removes SPB services from the SPB devices.
You can undeploy only SPB services in Normal or Failed Undeploy state.
To undeploy SPB services:

1.

From the navigation tree, select VAN Fabric Manager > LAN Configuration > SPB.

2.

Click the SPB Services tab.

3.

Select SPB services in the SPB service list.

4.

Click Undeploy.
The Deploy Status column displays Deploying.

5.

After the undeployment is completed, click Refresh to verify the undeployment result:

If the SPB services are removed from the list, the undeployment is successful.
