NOTE:

DCBX parameters in VFM include global DCBX parameters and interface DCBX parameters.
Global DCBX parameters take effect on a switch globally, and interface DCBX parameters take
effect on a specific interface.

FCoE switch list contents

{

Status—Alarm state in the IMC Platform for the FCoE switch. For information about alarm status,
see H3C IMC Base Platform Administrator Guide.

{

Device Name—Name of the FCoE switch. By default, this field is displayed as "device
label+device IP". The device label is the device label in the IMC Platform for the FCoE switch.

The device IP is the IP address the FCoE switch uses when it is added to the IMC Platform.

WWN—WWN of the FCoE switch. The WWN is factory assigned.

{

Switch Type—Type of the FCoE switch. Options are FCF and NPV.

{

Port Count—Number of interfaces on the FCoE switch. This field is read from the IMC Platform.

DCBX—Includes the following icons:

The first icon indicates whether the global DCBX parameters in VFM have been deployed
to the FCoE switch. The

icon indicates yes, and the

icon indicates no.

The second icon indicates whether the global DCBX parameters in VFM and on the FCoE
switch are consistent. The

icon indicates yes, and the icon indicates no. The icon is

also a link that you can click to view the global DCBX parameters in VFM and on the FCoE

switch (see "

Viewing and comparing the global DCBX parameters in VFM and on the

FCoE switch

").

The third icon is a link that you can click to enter the page for configuring global DCBX
parameters (see "

Configuring global DCBX parameters for a single switch in VFM

").

Last Sync—Time when the last synchronization between the FCoE switch and VFM was
complete.

{

Sync Status—Indicates whether the last synchronization between the FCoE switch and VFM is
successful.

Details—Provides the link that you can click to view the FCoE configuration and port
information of the FCoE switch (see "

Viewing basic information and interface information of an

FCoE switch

").

Querying FCoE switches

1.

On the upper right corner of the FCoE switch list, enter a partial or complete FCoE switch label in
the query control

,and click to display all FCoE switches that match the

entered label.

Alternatively:

1.

Click the Advanced icon

to expand the query area, and specify one or more of the following

query criteria:

{

Device Label—Enter a partial or complete FCoE switch label.

{

WWN—Enter a partial or complete FCoE switch WWN. The WWN is factory assigned.

{

IP Address—Enter a partial or complete FCoE switch IP address.

{

Status—Select the alarm state for the FCoE switch from the list.

Empty fields are ignored.
