SOURce[1]:AM:STATe

Set

Query

Description

Sets or disables AM modulation. By default AM
modulation is disabled. AM modulation must be
enabled before setting other parameters.

Note

As only one mode is allowed at any one time,
other modulation modes (inc. Sweep/FSK) will be
disabled when AM modulation is enabled.

Syntax

SOURce[1]:AM:STATe {OFF|ON}

Example

SOUR1:AM:STAT ON

Enables AM modulation.

Query Syntax

SOURce[1]:AM:STATe?

Return Parameter 0

Disabled (OFF)

Enabled (ON)

Query Example

SOUR1:AM:STAT?

AM modulation mode is currently enabled.

SOURce[1]:AM:SOURce

Set

Query

Description

Sets or queries the modulation source as internal
or external. Internal is the default modulation
source.

Note

If an external modulation source is selected,
modulation depth is limited to ± 5V from the MOD
input port on the rear panel. For example, if
modulation depth is set to 100%, then the
maximum amplitude is +5V, and the minimum
amplitude is -5V.

Syntax

SOURce[1]:AM:SOURce {INTernal|EXTernal}

Example

SOUR1:AM:SOUR EXT

Sets the modulation source to external.
