Note

As only one mode is allowed at any one time,
other modes (AM, FSK, Sweep etc.) will be
disabled when FM modulation is enabled.

Syntax

SOUR[1]:FM:STATe {OFF|ON}

Example

SOUR1:FM:STAT ON

Enables FM modulation.

Query Syntax

SOURce[1]:FM:STATe?

Return Parameter 0

Disabled (OFF)

FM modulation mode is currently enabled.

Query

Description

Sets or queries the modulation source as internal
or external. Internal is the default modulation
source.

Note

If an external modulation source is selected, the
frequency deviation is limited to ± 5V from the
MOD input port on the rear panel. For example, if
frequency deviation is set to 100Hz, then +5V will
increases the frequency by 100Hz.

Syntax

SOURce[1]:FM:SOURce {INTernal|EXTernal}

Example

SOUR1:FM:SOUR EXT

Sets the modulation source to external.

SOURce[1]:FM:SOURce?
