3. After adjusting information, select Apply.
4. Select the Labels tab.
The Labels tab for the ControLinX using the General Purpose Driver displays in the right side of the window
(see Figure 5-35).

The Labels tab is used to create descriptive labels for the buttons displayed on the menu screen of the user
interface. The RS232 command is entered in the field labeled command.
Table 5-25 provides information on the fields available for editing the Labels tab.

Tab Selection Description
IR/RS232 Settings Service Name A field used to name the device.
Driver The driver used for the device connected to the ControLinX.
Driver File Designates which Lua file is loaded onto the ControLinX.
This will not change unless a custom driver file is being used.
Control Type For the Generic Driver these settings are dependent on the
device being hosted by the ControLinX100.
Enable Service Enables or disables functionality.
Baud Rate Information provided by the manufacturer of the attached
device.
Data Bits Information provided by the manufacturer of the attached
device.
Parity Information provided by the manufacturer of the attached
device.
Stop Bits Information provided by the manufacturer of the attached
device.
