UI Tab for TheaterLinX Product

The UI tab for the TheaterLinX product allows for the matching of UI buttons and
labels to commands. For RS-232 controlled AVRs the Commands are provided in the
drop down. These are the commands provided by the RS-232 driver. For IR
controlled AVRs a list of basic commands are provided that then need to be
programmed.

Additionally, Macros can be assigned to the display controls specific buttons in the
TheaterLinX UI using the lower half of the screen. Macros need to be specified in the
macros section of Dealer Setup.

Figure 13-10

IR Tab for the TheaterLinX Product

The IR tab specifies how the TheaterLinX handles IR
commands sent to it from a remote. It does NOT
specify IR control of sources, this is covered in the
learning IR section of this chapter. The 8 source IR
commands are the 8 discrete IR commands that
enable specific DigiLinX source selections. The 20
User defined commands allow the execution of
specific macros via IR commands. The ‘Enable IR
Network Passthrough’checkbox allows IR to be
passed from the home theater (the AVR location) to
the selected source in the multi-room system. Use
this option to control sources in the multi-room
system that you want to be able to play through the
AVR.
