From the Audio port located on the EIM splitter, run a CAT5 cable to the Audio
Port (or to the MU290 and then to the Audio Port if you are using an MU290).

Connect the Audio Port or MU290 to the EIM splitter jack labeled Audio.
6.
Connect the IRLinX to the KeyLinX connector labeled IRLinX.
Configuring in Dealer Setup
Configuring a KeyLinX in DigiLinX Dealer Setup is a two-phase process:
configuring KeyLinX options in SpeakerLinX
configuring presets and controls for the source. The presets must be defined within
the device supporting that source or stream.
Defining Presets for KeyLinX
If you are using a KeyLinX, you can define presets for each stream. The KeyLinX has
six buttons available that can be configured to initiate a specific function when pressed.
For example, button one can be configured to play a specific playlist when button one
is pressed.
To define a preset, complete the following steps:
1.
Left-click on the SpeakerLinX hosting the stream you want to create the preset for.
2.
Select the Streams tab.
3.
In the table located at the bottom of the Streams tab, select a Preset.
NOTE:
The ID number corresponds with the button number on the keypad.

Select the stream from the compatible digital media server that you want to have as
a source available on the KeyLinX for control.
5.
Enter the relevant details.
For example, on Jason’s Stream, select Preset 1, then select Artist for the category,
and use Shawn Colvin as the detail. This causes the KeyLinX to begin playing
Shawn Colvin songs when button one is pressed, but only if Jason’s Stream is
active.
6.
Define the presets for each stream.
NOTE:
When you enter the detail, ensure that you use the same spelling and
capitalization as it appears on the TouchLinX. You may find it is easier to make
this setting after you have finished configuring the system.
NOTE:
Once you have set the KeyLinX Presets, write them down so you have a list of
what each button does on that stream.
