7. Select one of the following:
- If you are only adding hot spare drives, select
Continue without rebuilding the file
system
.
- If you are adding hot spare drives and binding new data LUNs, select
Rebuild
the file system
.
8. Click
OK
in the Summary dialog box.
9. Read the warning message, then click
OK
to bind all unbound LUNs and create a
file system.
- Binding 18 GB drives - approximately one hour
- Binding 36 GB drives - approximately two hours
- Binding 73 GB drives - approximately four hours
- Creating a file system - if you have no unbound LUNs, creating the file system
takes only a few seconds.
When the operation is complete, the Profile XP system is ready for testing.
