Video Inputs Statistics External Inputs Tab

The External Inputs tab shows the status of the actual encoder video inputs, as shown below.

For each video input, the following information is indicated:

Video Status:

This shows what resolution and frame rate are detected in the video input.

If there is no signal lock (i.e., no detected SDI framing), this indicator will be red and
show

No lock

.

Video Signal:

This shows the type of signal detected. If there is signal, it will show the

signal type, between SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI and 12G-SDI. If there is no
signal, it will show

No signal

.

Video Errors:

This shows a running count of the CRC errors in that input. Hitting the

Clear Error Counters

button in the Video Inputs Configuration Tab resets this count to

zero.

Video Inputs Statistics Encoder Inputs Tab

The Encoder Inputs tab shows the status of the internal encoder instances inputs. The individual
fields are:

Input Lock 1/2:

This shows the status of the internal timing generators, as follows:

If the Framesync is disabled (

Enable Framesync

is not checked in the Video

Inputs Configuration Tab), this will show the timing lock status of video inputs 1
and 2. The two possibilities are:

: The input has timing lock.

: The input has no timing lock.
