Encoder 1-4 Tabs

The Encoder Tabs are used to configure/monitor the individual encoder channels. The number of
tabs available depends on the configuration, as follows:

In Single Channel mode, only the Encoder 1 tab is available.

In Multi-Channel mode, the following tabs are available:

In HEVC Ultra Low Latency mode, the Encoder 1 and Encoder 2 tabs are
available.

o

In all other modes, there will be Encoder 1 through Encoder 4 tabs.

The parameters in these Encoder tabs are identical.

In general, the encoder user interface will change as a function of the parameter selections.
Controls may appear or disappear as applicable.

All encoder tabs have

Apply/Cancel

buttons at the bottom. Clicking on

Apply

implements the

changes, clicking on

Cancel

reverts them.

Encoder Configuration Tab

The Encoder Configuration Tab is divided into the three following tabs:

Basic

: These are the common configuration parameters that apply to all encoding

standards.

Advanced

: These are the more advanced configuration options. They are generally a

function of the encoding standard.

Output

: These are the output configuration options.

Encoder Basic Configuration Tab

The Encoder Basic Tab Configuration Tab is divided into three general areas:

Encoder Configuration:

generic configuration parameters.

Video Parameters:

parameters related to video encoding.

Audio Parameters:

select the number of audio channels associated with this encoder

Basic Tab–Encoder Configuration

The encoder configuration will look different based on whether the encoder is in single or
multi-channel mode, as shown below:
