Stop Encoder:

If this selected, the encoder will stop producing bitstream, and

will only start again when the signal comes back. This is the behavior when
the internal framesync is disabled.

Use Flat Field:

If this is selected, the encoder will continue operating with a

flat field (i.e., a screen of a given color). Selecting this option opens an
additional configuration item where the color of the screen can be selected, in
YCrCb coordinates:

Freeze Frame:

If this is selected, the encoder will continue operating with the

last good frame received from the input.

Note that these selections can be changed on-the-fly. For example, if flat field is selected
and the encoder loses signal, you can select freeze frame after the video loss and the
encoder will still put out the last good frame.

Basic Tab–Video Parameters

The basic Video Parameters are shown below:

Bit Depth:

Select from 8 Bits or 10 Bits.

Chroma Mode:

Select from 4:2:0 or 4:2:2. Note that 4:2:2 operation requires the

+422

optional license.

Down-Scale Video:

Select checkbox to down-scale the video. This causes the following

additional controls to become available:
