Replacing the Transfer Roller
A
Open the front cover by pulling
the front cover release buttons.

Open the transfer roller cover.
C
Wear the gloves included in the
maintenance kit to avoid making
your hands dirty with toner on
the transfer roller.
D
Hold the both sides of the roller
(green parts), and remove the roll-
er from the printer as shown in
the illustration.
E
Insert the new transfer roller.
When placing it, the green gear of
the roller should be positioned on
the left (
A A A A) as shown in the illus-
tration.
F
Close the transfer roller cover.
G
Take gloves off. Leave the paper
tray pulled out and the front cover
opened, go to P.9 “Replacing the
Fusing Unit”.
