Right-click on the Ethernet/IP scanner in I/O Configuration and select
New Module to open the Select Module Type window.

Select Generic Ethernet Module and click OK.

Enter a name for the E1 Plus EtherNet/IP Side Mount Module. The name
will create a tag in RSLogix 5000 that can be used to read and write data
from the E1 Plus EtherNet/IP Side Mount Module.
5.
Select Data-SINT for the Comm Format. The Comm Format tells
RSLogix 5000 the format of the data. The Data-SINT format will
represent the data from the E1 Plus EtherNet/IP Side Mount Module as a
field of 8-bit values.
