Use Message Instructions to Perform Run-time Services and Module Reconfiguration

Configuration Tab

This tab provides information on what module service to perform and where to
perform it. In the example below, the message instruction unlatches all input
process alarms on the module.

Choose the message type.

Choose the service type.

Type the Instance value.

When you unlatch any alarm on the module,

you must type in an Instance value.

IMPORTANT

For some of the service types available with the ControlLogix high-speed
analog I/O module, you must type values in required fields, in addition to
choosing the service from the pull-down menu (as shown above).

lists the services that require additional information.

Unlatch Alarm
There are ten alarms that can be
unlatched.

Instance

Number of the channel where a service is performed + 1. For
example, if you want a service performed on input channel 2,
you must use an Instance = 3.
