F and the waypoint will

be deleted from the flight plan.
The other waypoints in the flight
plan will be correctly reposi-
tioned (figure 4-21).

Turn off the cursor with the

B

button.

4.1.6. DELETING FLIGHT PLANS

To delete a flight plan which is no longer required:

1.

Display the flight plan (FPL 0,
FPL 1, . . ., or FPL 25) which is
to be cleared (figure 4-22).

2.

Make sure that the cursor is
turned off, and use the

B but-

ton if it is not.

3.

Press

E. The words Delete

FPL? will appear at the top of
the page (figure 4-23). If a mis-
take was made and you do not
wish to clear this flight plan,
press

E again.

4.

Press

F to clear the flight

plan. The flight plan page will
appear as in figure 4-24.

4.1.7.

STORING FPL 0 AS A NUMBERED FLIGHT PLAN

The active flight plan may be loaded into a numbered flight plan so that it
can be recalled for later use. This may be desirable, for example, if the
active flight plan was originally created on the FPL 0 page and not as a
numbered flight plan.

To store the active flight plan as a numbered flight plan:

1.

Select a numbered flight plan page which does not contain any way-
points (figure 4-24). If none exist, use the procedure described in
section 4.1.6, “Deleting Flight Plans,” to clear a flight plan which is no
longer required.
