INTERRUPTING A TRANSMISSION

The

INTERRUPT

key is used when you need to send a docu­

ment immediately but the machine is set up to perform an

operation(for example^ a delayed transmission). You can

interrupt the current activity and then resume it when you

have sent your urgent fax.

1) Press the

INTERRUPT

key.

2) Remove the document from the feeder.

3) Set the document you want to copy or transmit in the feed­

er.

4) Use the automatic transmission or polling function to send

your document.

5) After the transmission is completed, replace the original

document in the feeder, press the

INTERRUPT

key to re­

turn to the timer transmission WAITING status.

You can repeat the interrupt operation as often as you like.

- You can use the resolution settingf super COVERPAGE^

and Call Reservation. Other current settings can not he
used for the interrupt transmission.

- Even if auto redial is ON, the auto redial faction cannot

he used for an interrupt transmission.

- If the document

is

left in the feeder after pressing the

INTERRUPT key, the machine will return to the

W4iT-

INC

status. All transmission settings xviU he cancelled in

this situation.
