BASIC USES

Turning the transmission report on and off

You can learn whether or not your fax transmissions are suc­

cessful by printing out a transmission report. If this function

is on, a report will be printed automatically after each trans­
mission.

1) Press the

FUNCTION

key. A message will prompt you to

use the cursor keys to scroll through the functions manual­
ly. Scrolling will begin automatically after two seconds.

SET

to confirm your selection. The secondary func­

tions for this item will be scrolled two at a time on the LCD

until a selection is made.

and use the cursor keys to turn the transmission re­

port ON or OFF.

5) After you have

made your

selection, press

SET.

The cur­

rent and following secondary functions will appear on the
LCD. Press a number key if you want to work with a differ­

ent report. If you want to exit operations at this point, press

STOP.

The initial setting is OFF.

If there has been a transmission error, this report will he

printed out in all cases.
