6. TROUBLESHOOTING
This section provides possible solutions to the problems you may encounter in the use of this
machine.
-if There Are Image Quality Prohlems-
If you are having trouble with the image quality of faxes you send or receive, make a test copy
of the document. If the copy is of good quality, the problem is not with your fax machine, but in
the phone lines or in the fax machine on the other end of the line.
If the image of the copy you make is poor, clean the interior of the unit. (See page 7-2 for a
description of how to do this.)
If you are not able to solve a problem with your fax machine, after reading this section, then
contact Brother service personnel at 1-800-284-4FAX. (U.S.A. Only).
