Control Panels Page
When you click the ‘Control Panels’ entry in an expanded control system entry in the navigation
pane, the ‘Control Panels’ page appears:
The page has 3 sections.
The first lists all the NV96xx control panels defined in the configuration of the control system (for
which you clicked ‘Control Panels’). You can select a panel in this list if you intend to work on it.
The second section is a set of buttons that perform panel operations.
The third section reports network errors that occur for control panels.
Note that a panel is “defined” when you create a panel configuration for it using the ‘Control
Panels’ page of NV9000-SE Utilities’s Configuration pane. In doing so, you will have assigned the
panel a panel ID and a panel name.
Panel List
The panel list has seven columns:
• Panel Name
When you defined the panel configuration, you gave the panel a name. The fields in this col-
umn list those names.
• Panel ID
When you defined the panel configuration, you gave the panel an ID (which is a number).
The fields in this column list those IDs.
Note that in any running system controller, all panel IDs must be unique. Therefore, the
panel IDs in your configuration must be all be unique.
