Control Panels
EC9700
1 Button presence
The section lists 12 buttons that can be present in the GUI. Place checks in the check boxes
for all the buttons you want to appear in the GUI.
A bug exists: The checkbox options do not persist past saving the GUI config.
2 Default behaviors
The options in this section are like the panel options in many of the hardware panel configu-
ration pages. There is no EC9700 User’s Guide. Therefore refer to the NV9601 User’s Guide for
information about these panel options.
3 Panel presence
There are 4 tabbed pages (called “panels”) that can be present in the GUI, in addition to a
‘Help’ page:
Salvo
User Category
X-Y
Multidest
Place a check in the checkbox of those “panels” you want to appear in the GUI.
Also choose which “panel” you want to be the default, that is, the “panel” that is foremost
when the GUI starts.
4 Category button list
This section lists the category buttons that appear in the GUI.
5 Multidestination display
In this table, you can specify which destination devices are included in the multi-destination
device list.
See
on page 202, for information about the ‘Selectable’ and ‘Definable’
fields.
You must also specify the multi-destination device limit in the ‘GUI layout’ section.
6 Salvo display
This section lists salvos that the operator can execute.
The EC9700 can execute system salvos or local salvos. Salvos are defined in the NV9000 con-
figuration. Local salvos are defined by operators who record sequences of operations while
using the GUI.
For an operator to be able to define a local salvo, the EC9700 configuration must include one
or more local salvos in this section. You can click the ‘Add (Local)’ button to do that:
