User’s Guide

Host. These identify the host of the external interface definition.

You can use click, shift-click, and control-click techniques to select any of the external interfaces
in the list.

Buttons

‘Edit Selected External Interfaces’ Button

This button opens an external interface details page for each of the external interfaces you have
selected in the list. It is in the external interface details page that you can configure the commu-
nication port (either serial or Ethernet) of the interface.

‘Add External Interface’ Button

This button causes NV9000-SE Utilities to display the ‘Add External Interface’ page. The ‘Add
External Interface’ page starts an external interface definition.

‘Delete External Interface’ Button

This button deletes all the external interfaces you have selected in the list.

NV9000-SE Utilities presents a warning dialog before it deletes the external interfaces:

There is no undo: after the external interfaces are deleted, you cannot retrieve them.
