‘Routers’ table

‘Routers’ Table

Click ‘Routers’ in the ‘Views’ pane to show the ‘Routers’ table:

This page provides a simple list of the routers defined in the configuration, quite similar to the
‘Routers’ page under the ‘Configuration’ pane.

At the top of the page is a name filter. If you enter text in this field, the list of routers is restricted
to those routers whose name fields contain the text you entered.

The router list identifies the primary host, i.e., the primary system controller. There is an entry for
each router. This field is the name of your primary system controller. Usually this is NVCONFIG.
All routers should reference the same primary system controller.

At the bottom of the page are 6 buttons:

Add

Click ‘Add’ to add a router to the table. NV9000-SE Utilities creates a new row at the bottom
of the router list in which you can enter a name for the router and choose a host.

(The ID is generated by NV9000-SE Utilities.)

Although we do not recommend it, you can have duplicate router names because it is the
database ID that distinguishes one router from another.

Delete

Select one or more rows in the ‘Routers’ table and click ‘Delete’ to remove those routers from
the table.

NV9000-SE Utilities deletes the router entries immediately without any warning dialog.

Edit

Select one or more rows in the ‘Routers’ table and click ‘Edit’ to open a router details page for
each of the selected routers.

See

Router Details Page

on page 45 for details.

Save

Click ‘Save’ to commit (make permanent) the changes you have made in the page.
