‘XptExclusions’ Table
The ‘XptExclusions’ table (under the ‘Views’ pane) lists crosspoint (“XPT”) exclusions. This is a
typical ‘XptExclusions’ table:
A crosspoint exclusion is a route that is prevented from occurring (within a single physical level).
Thus, each crosspoint exclusion in the list specifies a physical level, an input port relative to the
physical level, and an output port relative to the physical level. If an operator attempts to
perform a take involving these ports, the route will not occur for these ports. It might be carried
out for other ports in the take.
There are 3 sections in the page:

Filter
At the top of the page is a ‘Physical Level’ filter. If you enter text in this field, the list of exclusions
is restricted to those levels whose names contain the text you entered.
Exclusion List
Each row in the list represents a crosspoint exclusion. The list has 3 columns:
•
ID. The data base ID for the level. These numbers are generated automatically and you can-
not change them.
•
Output port. This is the output end of the route that must not occur.
