‘Virtual Level Signal Binding’ Table

The ‘Virtual Level Signal Binding’ table can be found in the ‘Views’ pane. It lists the signal types
that are represented by the virtual level types.

Each entry is an inclusion relationship: each virtual level type includes one or more signal types.
You can add and delete inclusion relationships here.

What this table means is that the NV9000 software will (attempt to) route an input of a given
virtual level type if the output of the route is defined as having one of the signal types matching
the virtual level type.

(The inclusion relationships are defined for virtual level types, not for actual virtual levels. Thus,
the inclusion relationship applies to all actual virtual levels created in your configuration.)

NV9000-SE Utilities provides a default set of virtual level types, a default set of signal types,
and a default signal binding table. You might need to re-define some of these tables for your
system.

The signal binding relationships are completely arbitrary. You can use any signal binding
relationships that are suitable in your system.
